Arwen goes over to the punch bowl and takes a crystal glass in her hand. "Would anybody like some?" she asks.

"Greetings, Grubby!" Arwen says as she takes a sip of the punch. "Back again from the Dark Lands of Mordor?"

I'm just back from the cinema! What a movie! Just great and I think one review is particularily right: it will be hard to find a way to give an Oscar to Gollum ;D Gimli was great, too, had a lot of extremely funny scenes. The rest is hard to describe. Go watch it, the larger the screen the better ;D

My brother saw it today, while I saw the new Star Trek with my parents. TTT is now top priority on my Cinematic Viewing List.
I heard Andy Sirkus did a really great job of characterizing Gollum. Only a review said that the computer animated character could've been better. My brother seemed to like him okay, though. ;D

I saw it too now. I loved it a lot, though it was a much darker movie if you ask me. Perhaps of the locations...

Yeah, they put a lot more emphasis on the battle of Helms Deep in the movie than in the book

The winged beasts were also great, just the way I pictured them... And I still have to wait for Jan. 16 to see it???

It's not the same on a small screen. I saw it in the largest cinema in our city and it was truely impressive.
