* rides out onto open space of the pasture.*
It is a beautiful morning. Bright rays of sunlight break through the low lying mist and soft bird calls fill the nearby trees.

*Chantelle starts jogging, shaking her head from side to side*

Steady down, I am just as eager to explore Rivendell as you

* without warning the horse leaps into the air, squealing with excitement and comes down bucking*
*Can't hold soapy reins, flung through the air and tumble in the long grass*
Horse gallops around pasture, tail high, glad to be free.

*rides in on a galloping horse of silver, Kanarma. she whispers to the horse softly and it halts. she dismounts and once again whispers to Kanarma who trots off in search of the greenest grass. she then goes to a large oak tree in the middle of the pasture, climbs into one of the lower branches and watches*

*looks up in to branches of trees*
Nimrodel isn't it? Hi!
* tries to brush grass stains off clothes*
can you help me catch my horse?

*saw Floryian approaching*

yes. which one is it?

*reaches the pasture with Arian closely behind her* Good morning. I see you already had some action on this beautiful day... ;D *Looks at Floryian* Are you hurt?

[Floryian]

No. More embarassed then hurt. My horse hasn't been ridden since we arrived. I should have known better then to bring her out onto open land.
Nimrodel - it's the one galloping around madly, refusing to be caught.
Perhaps we should try and herd her in the direction of the stables?

oh yes, that one. it looks like someone over fed her on oats. i get Kanarma and see what i can do.

*whistles and Kanarma gallops towards them. Nimrodel mounts her*  

to the stables u say, i'll try, but i don't think she wabts to be caught

*trots off towards Chantelle*

*begins to chase Chantelle all over the pasture. Chantelle doesn't want to be caught or settled. After about half an hour of chasing, Nimrodel and Kanarma ride off in the opposite direction of Chantelle. They completly ignore her and go over under the oak tree. Curious, Chantelle comes over slowly. Not wanting to be left out of whatever is going on, Chantelle comes over and allows Floryian to catch her*

Horses are really curious, and if you ignore them when they are misbehaving, their curiosity gets the better of them

* Gets back on*

yes. i would like that very much. i have only been here a short time and haven't done much exploring. where shall we go?

[Floryian]

Down to the bottom of the pasture and through the woods and then back up lakeside?
*Heads off at a trot. Both horses keeping pace with each other start to get faster till they break into a canter.*
*laughs*
This is so much fun!
Reach end of pasture and head into the darkness of the wood. The floor is dabbled with spots of light filtering through the trees. There is a fallen log blocking the path.
* Turns round to Nimrodel*
Do you want to jump it first?

sure, why not.

*backs up a bit and then speaks to Kanarma who immediately takes off at a canter. she laps over the log with ease and lands on the other side, slowing to a trot and then stopping, waiting for Floryian and Chantlle*

Your turn. Just be careful, the ground over here is softer and a little slippery
