Once again fear and terror are spreading over the country as orc attacks on peacefull villages along the River Anduin become more and more frequent. Rumors have it that there is a huge orc camp at Eagle Mountain with a mysterious new weapon ready to strike. So Lord Elrond's best warriors are again called for help to restore peace for a while and to find out about the newest instrument of terror Mordor has constructed.
*Rides up to Lord Elrond's house* I am ready to go.

Lady Arwen Undomiel watches helplessly as her brothers Elladan and Elrohir prepare to leave Imladris once more. The elven maiden wishes to go with them, despite ehat she has been told.
Elladan comes into the large atrium again and looks at his sister who was sitting beside the fountain, more quiet than ever.
"Why cannot I go?" Arwen asks him as she sadly lifts her head up a bit.
"You know what you have been told for your own good," Elladan replies.
"Why must it be so? Is it because of how I ran away to help Gondor and Lord Elrond, my father, did not know where I was until I returned four months later? Alas! I want to do something, not just sut here and embroider flags all day!" Arwen says, looking at Elladan, fixing her piercing blue gaze upon his.
"I shall not permit it," Elladan says as he leaves to go prepare further with his brother, Elrohir.
"You are not my father to say so," Arwen says defiantly. "And not even my father shall stop me from doing what I have to do!"
Arwen waits for her twin brothers to leave the atrium, then she gets up from the seat by the fountain, brushes her red dress and leaves at the other exit to go and persuade her father to let her go...

Arwen walks down the stairs into her father's personal library and finds him reading a book about Anduin.
*Background knowledge...* Arwen thinks to herself with a sigh. She gets up her courage and walks up ti Lord Elrond.
"Oio naa elealla alasse!" she says, though Elrond just looks ar her without the slughtest surprise.
"I know why you are here, Arwen," Elrond tells his daughter in a serious tone.
"Alas! the gift of foresight is always a step ahead of me," Arwen replies as she tries to think of a way to persuade her father. "I wish to help in the battle of Eagle Mountain, I am more needed there than I am here in Imladris," the elven maiden begins.
"Undomiel, you know how it goes. Fate has not chosen you to venture there," Elrond tells her, though he himself holds a doubt or two.
"Father, the past cannot be changed, but it is none other than the choice of the present which shall shape the future," Arwen insists, knowing that persuading her father will not be an easy task. "Does it matter that I am a maiden, and where is it written that I cannot go?"
She waits for the answer, standing peaefully still but jumpy on the inside despite her appearance...

*Has been walking over to Lord Elrond's private quarters to gather more news about the mysterious attacks. Hears that a discussion is going on. Turns around and goes back, stopping at the kitchens for a snack. As she passes a small door, she can hear someone crying. Carefully opens the door to find one of the kitchen girls sitting in one corner, weeping. It's Linha, a girl she has met several times before. Kneels down beside her.* Linha? It's me, Rhiannon. What has happened?

A while later, Arwen leaves the library, her spirit as light as a feather.
The elven maiden sings and dances down the hall, being so happy that she can go! *Wait till I tell my brothers!* she thinks as she goes of to get her sword and make sure that Asfaloth, her horse, is ready!

Linha? What's wrong *Hugs her to calm the girl down a little* Come on.... *Linha looks into her eyes, then hands her a piece of paper. It seems to be a letter. She quickly reads it* "Dear Linha, it's me, your uncle Thoum writing to you. Unfortunately I have to inform you that your parents' village fell to the orcs a few nights ago. I'm sorry, Linhie, so sorry...but your parents are didn't survive. Your younger brother, Kilm, was found in the forest, hiding in a cave. He has no wounds but suffered a severe shock and hasn't talked since. Please, I know what you're feeling now, we're going through the same valley of grief and sorrow. Yet we beg you to stay in the safety of Rivendell. Please, until it's safe again. Love, your uncle Thoum & family." *Turns to the girl again, almost starting to cry, too.* I'm so sorry, Linha....I promise to go there and to hunt down every orc I can find...*Linha looks up to her* Yes my girl, you have my word. And please take your uncle's advice and stay here. I know it's hard but you can't help them there. Can you promise this to me? *The girl nods* So we have a deal. *Hands the letter back and leaves the room, closing the door as silent as possible. *

Arwen leaves her room now, her pack over her shoulder and she is no longer wearing a delicate gown but more appropriate attire. She just puts her sword in its hilt and goes down to stairs when she sees a familiar figure.
"Rhianon!" she cries, running up to the Ranger, happy to know that they would be fighting side by side once more. "Are you going to fight in the Battle of Eagle Mountain? I barely persuaded my father to let me go..."
OOC: -edit- Why did I post this in teal by mistake?

"Alas! I have not yet been given word of further help. Lord Elrond should have send messages, though I do not know of much..." Arwen admits, making sure her sword was put in place tightly. "All I have to do now is to get Asfaloth with me, though we shall need more help, I do not doubt that!"
OOC: Definitely more people! Two can't fight alone...
