(also who deleted my post?) ooc: If something got deleted, it wasn't me. There is a given storyline, so please leave main narration and green color to me so things don't get confusing*Takes Arian a few steps back and then jumps the river. Grins* Yeah, you're right, Floryian, that was great!

Jack's always had a 6 legged horse. I looked after it when it was injured in an orc battle.

As they climb higher, dark clouds gather at the mountain summits and soon it starts to snow. First there are only a few flakes but soon a thick white wall falls in silence, limiting their view to the next three steps. The higher they come, the more snow is piling up. Getting out of the last trees, a sharp wind blows into their faces. The way becomes increasingly narrow and the horses begin to slip more often.

I'm getting off. It's too dangerous to ride in these conditions. *Jumps down off Chantelle, runs up her stirrups and takes the reins over the horses head. Walks on, head bowed against the blizzard, leading Chanty behind here.*

*Dismounts, too. Quickly calculates their speed and the distances.* We must be about half way up the pass. Normally, you can see it from here already. Going back will be as dangerous as moving on and we sure don't find better conditions tomorrow. The descent should be less dangerous as the mountains will shield us from the wind.
