*throws some more wood on the fire and stares into the flames, mesmirised by the dancing light. The faces of her companions, huddled around the fire, are flickering with red and orange shadows. Her attention is drawn to them and she watches them one by one - Rhiannon, Firebird, Merlin, Aragorn and Jack and thinks of the many battles they have fought together. In her mind she prays that they all return safely to Rivendell when their quest is over*
