Good point, Mel. Though I have to admit it all depends which costume. Though I have to admit that a big worry is that a friend of mine thought about dressing up as Amidala. That could be cool, considering that one of us could be the decoy (trick everyone) while two of the same characters in the same grade may be weird. Sorry to be bugging everyone about such matters...

is she going as queen amidala? or as padme' the seniter? then u can dress as the wight fighting outfit. and she truly would be the decoy.

;DWell, at my home the costume limit always was what my mom was willing to sew.... So it's really handy to have a sewing machine of your own, not only if you're into roleplaying ;D

I see what you mean, Rhia. That's why I can't go into any of the really complex Amidala outfits. Just look at the one she had in the Senate in Episode I! Well, I definitely wouldn't pick that one (too uncomfortable, would look bad, cost too much, etc.). But some of the other are quite good. I like the white one as well, it would be especially effective if I got my hands on a blaster! (To be used not only on Nute Gunray but orcs as well!)

Lol, well, fortunately my mom is very creative and patient so we almost always got whatever costume we wanted. With the huge advantage not to have to worry about how many other people would wear the same on the party. It was always highly original.

I also make all of my roleplaying equipment myself. I only have one shirt I bought, mainly to get a closer look at the pattern... ;D Unfortunately I always end up making stuff for friends who are also into roleplays or share one of my favourite sports that involves strange clothing...

Mine were quite original too. The Leia one I had last year was very succesful and so was the tooth fairy one which I wore a few years ago. I just love role-playing. It gets you more into the thing and out of the current world which is full of troubles. Not like the Lotr one isn't, but I'd rather live in Middle-Earth or perhaps a planet in Star Wars than in the current world...

I would like to live either in Rivendell or Lothlorien. The Shire may be nice, but I would like to go for adventures and explore other lands; the Hobbits would say it's "something unnatural!"

I know how to be annoying as well, though I prefer to use it as a last resort...
