Two Towers? How could I forget that one? If Minas Morgul was included it may work on the three's list, though it doesn't. Oh well!
2 ~ Baggins which had the One Ring (Bilbo and Frodo)
Any other ideas?

Some last minute 2's to add. I believe that we'll be moving on to the threes shortly.
2 ~ Boromir's in history (Boromir I and Boromir II. Boromir II was in the Fellowship)
2 ~ Same goes for Denethor. (Denethor I and Denethor II. Denethor II was the father of Boromir and Faramir in the books).
2 ~ Also goes for Arathorn. (Arathorn I and Arathorn II. Arathorn II was the father of Aragorn II, also known as King Elessar and Strider).

Finally we are moving along! Here go the threes...
3 ~ Children of Elrond. Elladan, Elrohir and Arwen. 3 ~ The chapter "Three is Company" in Book One of LOTR. Pippin, Sam and Frodo were heading of the Crick Hollow (it's different in the movie, please bear with me...)
3 ~ Three companions chasing the Uruk-Hai to get Merry and Pippin back. They were Gimli, Legolas and Aragorn.
