Jeese, sounds difficult, sorry I'm a bit lazy. How about you PM the lessons to me so we don't clutter up this area, or maybe you can email to me (my email address is KoalaCD@aol.com, if you want to know), or something. Oh, and Quenya is the language mostly spoken by the Elves, right? I dont want to learn a complete language and find it useless. (thanks for the introduction)

Aye, Claire. Perhaps doing them here may as well make these boards all cluttered up. I shall add you to my mailing list (could be helpful). I've sent you an email, though I'll be posting some more things here ocassionally!

You are the one whom emailed me, correct. I'll try to download the course. Is it easy reading?

Depends how you view it. It is in size 14 font so it is easy to see them properly (even if you have glasses, I never did!). Meanwhile, it's better to pay close attention to things (even if they are dull) because once you stop paying attention the information may go over you head!

I'll remember that. (I've never had need of glasses or contacts, my mother, father, and younger sister needs them, but not I, I'm the only one not blind. ;D)

The course is 300 pages long! (Don't mean to scare anyone!) I've began lesson one today and got some four pages into it. I've also gotten a blue notebook which looks a bit Elvish to keep all my notes in. I was writing in pink in multicolored pens at first and it was a bit messy. The notes were readable easily, but it just didn't have something Elvish about it. Now I'll have to rewrite my six pages again and I'm wondering whether to change my handwriting a bit since mine is kind of dull...
(I know this was totally out of topic, sorry! )
Wow! You're the only one without glasses in your family? That's quite lucky. Nobody in mine has them... Though I have a feeling that my brother may need them!

Yep, I'm the only one. Taking notes, should one take notes on the introduction, and also, how do you suggest one takes notes. (I've got to find a notebook, but I want a big one, I'm not really gonna worry about if it looks elvish) OH, and just wondering, do you know how to say "Forest Warrior" in Quenyian?

I took notes on the introduction, but don't bother with the law parts. I don't think that there ever WAS an Elvish lawyer. *Smiles* Take notes on the basics of Quenya (like the fact that there are more sllyables and less words) as well as on spelling. Also mind the sources which the course came from so that you can find those books if you need them for reference somewhere else. The Corpus (that's a part of the introduction) could also be looked at, but that's about it. I got around three full pages of notes from the intro, though the lessons definitely call for more when it comes to the way I'm doing it...

OKay, I'm still on the part where he's talking about copyright I think. But I'll be going to Florida, so unless I don't print it, I won't be able to read it for a week and a half or so.

I'm back from Florida, I hope your vacation went well also. Anyway, how do you get the information on your computer to the school computer to print it there?

Simple. There are two ways in which I do it: 1) Put it on a floppy disk at home. Then take the disk to school and do the stuff there!
2) This only works if you have two email accounts: Open one of them and send yourself a message to the other address. Before you click the send button, add the Elvish and other things you want to print as attachments. Now just send it over! If one email won't let everything fit, try using two or three of them. This method also has another weak point: What if you aren't allowed to check your mail during certain times? Make sure you are doing it at the right time to avoid detention in the Fobidden Forest with Filch!
