I wear an old but well kept mithril armor under my shirt which was passed on from generation to generation in my family along with the sword. The only other pieces of armor are two wrist guards. I rather rely on my skills than on heavy armor because even the best armor won't help you if you are surrounded and don't know what to do.

I must congratulate you on how quick you learn. You'll be a sword master in no time. There is another important thing: since you carry no shield, your sword is not only your weapon but serves as your shield, too. So try always to stay behind your sword. Don't make big movements or run/fly around swinging your sword above your head leaving you without cover. *smiles* Do you want to see some more techniques or shall we go on practicing this particular one. I will attack you. This way, you'll get a feeling for the real timing and proper distance. *bows slightly* thank you. i have not acquired a shield yet, this is true...i should probably go straight to the armory to get one! ooc: sorry i havent been posting for like the past hour! i'm making indian spice rice for dinner and yeah...i still am cooking it but it's simmering for 10 mins so i'm good for now!

*bows slightly* thank you. i have not acquired a shield yet, this is true...i should probably go straight to the armory to get one! I never said you should get one. In my opinion, carrying a shield severely reduces your options. BTW my connection is really s l o w right now. Please bear with me.

Since you probably want to continue flying, it should definitely be something on the lightweight side. If you don't find a suitable piece in the armory, I'm sure Jack, as blacksmith, can make you something.

*sighs in impatience* blacksmiths make things out of iron...so that wouldnt help, unless you're a silversmith, too, jack...

Since iron is such a sensitive issue for fairies, maybe we should take some wooden training swords. This way we can take off all iron armor, too, since nobody will get hurt.
